In accordance with article 330.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, a person's failure to fulfill the obligation established by the legislation of the Russian Federation to submit to the appropriate territorial body of the federal executive body authorized to exercise the functions of control and supervision in the field of migration, a notification that a citizen of the Russian Federation has citizenship (nationality ) of a foreign state or a residence permit or other valid document confirming the right to permanently reside in a foreign state, shall be punishable by a fine in the amount of up to two hundred thousand rubles or in the amount of the wages or salary or other income of the convicted person for a period of up to one year, or by compulsory work for a period of up to four hundred hours.
