Turkey has approved a new bill, according to which a necessary condition for obtaining Turkish citizenship by investment was the acquisition of real estate in the amount of at least 400,000 US dollars. This price should be reflected in Tapu and be a government estimate (cadastral valuation).
Recall that previously the required minimum for obtaining Turkish citizenship was quickly $1 million, in 2018 this amount was reduced to $250,000. After the decline, the number of people wishing to acquire Turkish citizenship has risen sharply.
Currently, those wishing to have alternative citizenship are also holding a high bar, which is probably why the country's authorities have raised this limit.
List of documents to be submitted:
Tapu (Proof of Title), with a purchase of at least $400,000 Lira equivalent.
Certificate of money transfer to the seller of the above amount.
Passports of all family members.
Marriage certificate (with apostille, translation into Turkish).
Birth certificate (wa) of children, as well as Birth certificates of all adult family members applying for citizenship with an apostille and translation into Turkish.
Certificate of divorce, in case of widowhood - Certificate of death of the spouse. also apostilled with translation.
Police clearance certificates for all family members over 14 years of age.
Certificate of family composition with an apostille (obtained at the place of residence).
Biometric photographs for each family member.
Dates (day, month, year) must be indicated on the above documents.
