Further, the second trip, which was already both burdensome in terms of money and inconvenient in terms of separation from work or other affairs in the homeland. This trip was necessary to formalize the transfer of ownership. Previously, it took 1-2 days, but to go to Tapu, the ward had to arrive. A power of attorney for the purchase of real estate can be made in two places: While in Turkey (any city, regardless of the city of purchase of an apartment) at a notary with the obligatory participation of a sworn translator;

While in your country of residence at the Consulate or Embassy of the Republic of Turkey. This method is more inconvenient because you need to sign up at the consular mission, this may not happen right away, time may be running out, you may have to go to the nearest mission, etc. While in Turkey, it will take about an hour or half an hour.

Do not waste time and do not experiment, the cadastral department will not accept the power of attorney for the acquisition or alienation of real estate from ordinary notaries in your country of residence.

The power of attorney prescribes all the powers that need to be performed, and your presence at the transaction will be mandatory.

Why has this method become very convenient? The rules for registration of the transfer of ownership have changed, now this procedure can take from 3 days or more, which does not always fit with air tickets for buyers.
