Turkey is a country of great contrasts, different nations, religions, languages, and a different culture. This has developed historically, and in recent years, many foreigners have begun to come here, who also leave an imprint on life and traditions. Moreover, many of them change quickly enough. For example, when I arrived here 10 years ago, almost no one was celebrating the New Year, and now a large number of local people go to the hotel to celebrate the New Year.

In Turkey, the religion is Islam, but officially the state is separated from religion and everyone is guaranteed freedom of religion. There really is no persecution for practicing another religion. Here are some recommendations for non-Muslims. Ramadan (Arabic: رمضان [ra. ... Ramazan [ɾɑmɑˈzɑn]) is a month of fasting (saum), mandatory for Muslims, and is one of the five pillars of Islam. During the month of Ramadan, devout Muslims in the daytime refuse to eat, drink, smoke, and intimacy. It will be respectful not to drink water in the presence of a person who observes this fast, much less eat. The faint-hearted should not come to the places of sacrifice (as a rule, this happens within the city limits on the territory of the market), these are the traditions of people, they should be respected.

If they ask me what the Turks love the most, then perhaps I will answer like this: children, football, picnics, raki, Kuzu fasulie. Indeed, both dads and mothers love and care for their children very much, sometimes even allowing them more than we are used to seeing. Turks marry for love, and what is happening in the upper echelons, we can only guess. There are both early marriages and more mature ones.

In food, the Turkish people are quite conservative, it is quite difficult to persuade them to try something new, the same sushi or salad ala-mayonnaise. After all, gustatory habits are a powerful thing.

Residents of Turkey are quite open and hospitable people. This can be seen when you first meet a Turk, be it a police officer, civil servant, or a seller in the market. If your formal conversation has developed into a friendly one, then the Turk will try to do everything so that you have only pleasant impressions of communicating with him. When communicating with a Turk, smile, show your good disposition, and you are guaranteed to get a new acquaintance in a new country. Turks cannot stand raising their voices, they perceive it as aggression, plus not understanding the language aggravates the situation. When a Turk listens to Russian speech with emotions, for example, we joke violently, we often had to explain that we do not swear, everything is fine.

The Turks have a special attitude towards animals. On the street everywhere you can find drinking bowls for dogs, poured food and a lot of cats. It even seems to me that a cat in Turkey is like a cow in India. Even in an expensive restaurant in the park, the cat will not be chased away. There are many animals on the street, but they are all microchipped and vaccinated, this is done by the state service.

There is also an interesting feature among the Turks - a love of adventures, gambling and lotteries. I think everyone buys lottery tickets. And sometimes, no, no, and I buy a ticket for the New Year's rally. So far, only the cost of the ticket itself has won.

Many Turks are very fond of wristwatches, but few are punctual. You just need to get used to this, nothing can be done about it. In most questions, they are very calm, in no hurry. The lack of obligation in some issues and in work also betrays their inherent, sometimes excessive calmness in the Turks. You will either have to accept this or not start any business with the Turks. Therefore, we organize our service with the commitment we are accustomed to in order to avoid nervousness for our customers.

Many people ask me what kind of Turkish woman is she? I will say this, Turkish ladies are distinguished by a great love of cleanliness and order, they are excellent housewives, they cook national dishes well. Turkish women are characterized by a high perception of their own nature. They consider themselves to be very clever and beautiful, in general, they know their worth, which, I think, many women should learn from them. They are quite temperamental, they can arrange such a hot showdown that they will hear in the neighboring city. Turkish women love bright makeup, for the most part they are not very athletic, although, in recent years, the situation has begun to change. When getting married, many Turkish women leave their jobs and prefer to take care of their home and children.
