Antalya Akev Universitesi
Founding Foundation AKEV, founded in 1987, is the Antalya Culture and Education Foundation. The educational institutions of AKEV College have served Antalya and Turkish national education since 1964 as a private school, and since 1987 under the auspices of the Antalya Culture and Education Foundation, AKEV.
The foundation, which continues its activities with kindergartens, elementary schools and Anatolian high schools and has thousands of alumni, also began research to establish a university in 1996 in line with the objectives of the foundation's official document.
Our foundation and university conduct research that covers all residents of Antalya, working with the imece method in the light of science, in accordance with the principles and reforms of Ataturk. The construction of our two faculty buildings with a closed area of 16,000 square meters and a capacity of 1,500 students has been completed. These two completed buildings have sufficient capacity for the first five-year quota. Completed the construction of social facilities and housing for teachers, consisting of 4 blocks and 40 apartments, the foundation of which was laid on 26.08.2009. Antalya Bilim Universitesi is the second and first foundation university founded in Antalya by the decision of the official bulletin dated July 21, 2010. Antalya Bilim University was founded by the Gaye Education Health, Sports and Environment Foundation. The rector of the university, which began admitting students for the 2012-13 academic year, prof. Dr. Ismail Yuksek.
It is the first and only international university in Turkey. According to the news of the Official Gazette; It consists of 6 faculties (economic and administrative sciences, engineering, tourism, law, communication, fine arts and architecture), 4 colleges (civil aviation, foreign languages, vocational school of justice and vocational school) and 2 institutes (social sciences, sciences) ... Transportation to the school is provided by private shuttles and public transport.
